Guides and reaction clips repeatedly cite ~10,000 Souls for Third Eye. One popular update clip even has chat say “You need 10K souls?” while the player shops for the item. Treat 10k as a community-common value, not a hard guarantee — Beta price tags change.

What Third Eye is not

It is not a fourth pistol tier and not a free Sagat skip. Buying it early while you are still soft on Stage 6 wastes the Souls that would have shortened the main boss. For pipe entry and buy order, stay on shop.

Same door, different gate
